Article I · Scoring

  • Newport Bay — Texas Scramble, 9 holes, 8 pts. Win = 2, Tie = 1. Both tee off, take the best drive, then each plays his own ball; team score is the better of the two.
  • Rum Pointe & River Run — Two-Man Scramble, 18 holes, 12 pts each. Front 9, Back 9, and Full 18 each worth Win = 1 / Tie = 0.5. Both hit every shot from the team's best spot until holed.
  • Lighthouse Sound — Singles match play, 9 holes, 8 pts. Win = 1, Tie = 0.5. Head-to-head; most holes won takes it.
II

Article II · Lift, Clean & Place

  • In effect all weekend, every shot, every format, unless you're in a penalty area.
  • One club length, no closer to the hole, same condition (fairway to fairway, rough to rough).
  • Bunkers: lift, rake, place within 12 inches. Mud balls: clean anytime.
  • Translation: we cheated, legally, for two days.
III

Article III · Out of Bounds & Lost Ball

  • Drop one club length from where you think it went out.
  • The opposing team must approve the drop.
  • Crossing water or woods, drop at the point of crossing. Use drop zones where they exist.
IV

Article IV · Relief

  • Sewer covers, drains, cart paths: free relief, one club length, no closer.
  • Deep mud or a puddle: lift, clean, place.
  • Light mud or just bad turf: play it as it lies.
V

Article V · Bunkers

  • No touching the sand before the swing.
  • Practice swings allowed, as long as you don't touch sand.
  • Buried in mud or standing water: lift, rake, place, no closer.
VI

Article VI · Gimmies & Mulligans

  • Gimmies: the opposing team decides. Always.
  • Mulligans: voted per round — none, one per game, or one per nine.
  • Breakfast Balls get their own separate vote.
  • Scrambles require at least one tee shot per player, per nine.

Article VII · Acts of God

Cold, rain, and early dark are binding. The Saturday singles were mostly called before they finished — Red already led 19½–12½ and only a sweep could have caught them — with the outcomes settled after the fact. Rebuilt from the scorecards, the official 40-point final stands at Team Lalo Salamanca 26, Team McAndrew 14.
